Cultural similarity

This time it's not about difference. If you want one example of a cultural similarity between New Yorkers and Parisians, take the subway.

Completely accurate!

Yes! My prefered pick is 6th: "Have your MetroCard out of its holster before you get to the turnstile. Before."

Here in Paris most of the commuters, including me, are using contactless travel cards that allow us to cross a turnstile in no time (like 2 seconds for some of them). Drawback: it gives you frightening murder ideas each time you have someone blocking a gate because they search for their ticket. "Get the hell out of my way, I'm coming through." 8-

Or, of course, in London, where the same rules apply, particularily number 8.
